Mow your lawn slightly shorter than normal and remove excess thatch, leaves, or debris. This helps Elite Lawn® make direct contact with the soil surface.
Spread a ¼–½ inch layer of Elite Lawn® evenly across the lawn using a shovel and rake or a compost spreader for larger areas. Avoid applying so heavily that grass blades become covered.
Water the treated area immediately after application to help settle the compost, activate beneficial microbes, and move nutrients into the root zone.

Yes. Elite Lawn® is an all-natural compost made from Class A biosolids and contains no synthetic chemicals, pesticides or herbicides. After application, water the lawn thoroughly to help settle the compost into the soil; once watered in, your family and pets can enjoy the lawn as usual.
